Who we're following: Our favorite caregiving influencers

If you saw the sub-header, I said these are our favorite influencers.  Don't feel left out; these are some of our favorites.

In fact, if you have a favorite, or if you want to be featured in one of these awesome newsletters about toileting, email me back right away.

There's a whole community of really cool people sharing their caregiving experiences, wisdom, humor, and reality checks.

Here are a few that I wanted to share with you today.

David Heavens

My wife Nikki recently shared a post from David Heavens, and it stuck with me. David is a thoughtful storyteller as he cares for Frank and Pippa. One line from a recent clip sums up his whole approach:
"Dignity is maintained when the help you offer isn't invasive."

If you want to feel inspired about what care can look like, David's page is a great place to start.
Matt Cauli

We tend to think of caregiving as something tied to aging, but life can change direction for anyone, at any time.

Matt documented his family's experience with exactly that kind of sudden shift, the shock, the frustration, and the moments of joy that came with it. He's continued that work, now helping others who unexpectedly find themselves stepping into a caregiver role.
Lance Slatton

Lance is a podcaster sitting at the forefront of senior care, interviewing a wide range of guests with real depth.

His conversations aren't quick scrolls, they're the kind you sit with when you have the time to actually learn something. He also recently published a book, which is worth checking out if his interviews resonate with you.
Lindsay (@equipmeot)

One of our absolute favorites (there I go again about favs, but Lindsay is kinda awesome.)

Lindsay stays on top of the newest, coolest, and most genuinely helpful caregiving equipment out there, and her demos are quick, simple, and honestly fun to watch, no fluff, just useful info.
