The Safety Dance!
Quick pop quiz: what do a one-hit-wonder from 1982 and fall prevention have in common? Besides the fact that you now have that song stuck in your head.
"Safety Dance" was about dancing your own way. Bold move from a band named Men Without Hats.
Nobody in the band was thinking about bathroom falls. Watching that old music video, who knows what they were thinking about!Â
We think about bathroom safety constantly. Falls are one of the most common, and most preventable, reasons someone loses their independence.
And the riskiest moves don't happen on a dance floor. They happen in the bathroom.
