DL2 / WL2Replacement Up/Down Switch
Replacement Part: Switch for the DL2 and WL2 toilet lifts. This switch can replace either the left or right hand side.
Here is our test process. This will help us diagnose any problem:
Does the switch on the other handlebar work, but the one you are suspicious of does not? You likely need a new switch. Replace it before the other one gets broken.
This switch comes in two pieces. The button/switch itself, which is often what becomes damaged. It is replaced by removing the old button and replacing it with the new one. We suggest unplugging one wire at a time from the old switch, then plugging in that same wire on the new switch. We do not suggest you remove more than one wire at a time as you could get confused.
Here is an instructional video about how to replace the up/down button on your DL2 or WL2 switch.
Does your button or lift look different than the one in this video?
If Your button looks different: It is possible that you have a slightly different button surface. We have attempted to make wider buttons and narrower buttons. Yours might look slightly different on the surface but if you have a DL2 or WL2 lift, the button is the same underneath.
Your lift looks different than the one in this video: If your lift has different arms than the lift in this video, THIS IS NOT THE BUTTON FOR YOU. You might have a DL1 or WL1 lift. In that case the replacement switch is here. https://dignitylifts.com/collections/spare-parts-for-dignity-lifts-toilet-lifts/products/dl1-replacement-switch
