Weekend bike ride, caring for Vets thru the VA

How was your Memorial Day? I hope you found some time to enjoy it with friends and family.

Every Memorial Day, a few of my friends ride the gravel roads through Oakland County (just North of Detroit) to the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.

It is an impressive place in a beautiful area, and going there helps me appreciate what others gave so I can do things like ride a bike with my friends.

Here are a few photos.

It was also my father-in-law's 80th birthday!

He is an Air Force Veteran.

Here is a picture of him eating birthday cake on the Dignity Lift Deluxe DL2 in my home office.
